Steffi Bow is a multi-media artist... She is never very far away from a can of spray paint!

Story

Steffi Bow started her “art career” surreptitiously. In fact she never planned her painting hobby to be anything other than a bit of light fun and entertainment.

In memory of her late Scottish grandmother (whom always wore bows), Steffi started painting stencil graffiti bow tags on streets wherever she went.

This tagging habit became rather addictive and gained Steffi "Bow" a fair amount of attention. It encouraged and led her on a journey experimenting with spraypaint… progressing onto larger freehand graffiti bows, giant life sized stencil pieces, letter-forms and abstract patterns.

No surface was safe from being attacked with spray paint!

Co-incidentally Steffi was born in Bow, East London so the nickname “Bow” was coined.

Asides from her grandmother, Bow’s creative inspiration comes from the love of colour and a cheeky sense of humour. The absurdities of life and human daftness, connecting a smile with strangers and transporting their thoughts just for a moment to another world. This is what Bow hopes to achieve with her art work.

Working on a complete aray of projects, whether it be providing creative ideas for global brands, painting in the streets or being commissioned to paint at International Art fairs, Steffi Bow fully immerses herself and gives it her all.
